1、 Applicable materials
TA1, TA2, TC4 and other pure titanium and titanium alloy wire materials, with a diameter generally ranging from 0.1mm to 8mm.
2、 Preparation before pulling

The titanium disc, titanium rod, and titanium wire have been polished, polished, and pickled to ensure that there are no cracks or oxide scales on the surface.

Vacuum annealing or argon protected annealing can soften grains, eliminate stress, and ensure pull-out.
surface treatment
Acid washing: removing oxide layer and pollution layer
Lubricant application: saponification solution, oil-based lubricant, specialized titanium wire drawing powder
3、 Key points of key pulling process
mold
Multiple hard alloy molds and diamond molds are used, with strict control over mold angles and sizing belts to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface smoothness.
Track deformation amount
Pure titanium: single pass reduction rate of 15% to 30%
TC4 and other titanium alloys: 10% to 20%
Excessive deformation can lead to wire breakage, fraying, and cracking.
Pulling speed
Stable drawing at medium and low speeds to avoid heating, oxidation, and bonding of molds.
Multiple pull ups
Rough drawing → Medium drawing → Fine drawing → Precision drawing
Intermediate annealing is required every 2-5 passes to restore plasticity.
4、 Intermediate annealing (determining whether it can be stretched thin or not)
Temperature: 600-750 ℃
Atmosphere: Vacuum/argon protection, oxidation is strictly prohibited
Purpose: To eliminate work hardening, prevent brittle fracture and surface cracks
5、 Fine drawing and finished product processing
Fine extraction/fine pulling
Small deformation, high smoothness mold, controlling diameter tolerance, roundness, and straightness.
Finished product annealing
Soft/semi hard/hard state, adjust mechanical properties according to customer requirements.

Polishing/Polishing: Bright Surface

6、 Common Quality Control
Surface: No burrs, scratches, cracks, oxidation color
